The Asus A31SD-AH51 is a thin and light 13.3” screen laptop that just a couple of weeks ago retailed for $700 on Amazon, but has since had a price drop to $540. This particular model on sale has the following core specs:
- Intel Core i5-2430m Processor 2.4GHz
- 4GB DIMM RAM
- 640GB 5400RPM Hard Drive
- 13.3-Inch Screen, NVIDIA GeForce GT 520M
- Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, 8 hours Battery Life
The Asus A31SD weighs only 4lbs and has an amazing battery life of up to 8 hours, making it a great portable laptop option. Despite the light weight and long battery life, this laptop still has a lot of power to offer with its Intel Core i5-2430m processor and Nvidia GT 520M graphics. One thing to mention is the fact that this model does not have the same magnesium-alloy body that the more expensive Asus A36SD-AH51 has, but that costs $778 on Amazon.com right now with the same specs. If you’re on a budget and would prefer to save over $230 then I’d jump on this Asus A31SD-AH51 deal while it lasts at Amazon, stock is sure to be low give the low price and fact there is a U31SG model replacement.

Just saw the number of units tick down from 6 to 5 (8AM PST) — tempted to push the buy button! I guess they’ll be out of stock sometime today…I should stop refreshing the page.

Yeah, the Marketplace sellers have had it listed ~$700 for a while. Amazon is out of stock, but it wouldn’t surprise me if they list a new batch next week. I’ll post an update if I see them again!
