Get $100 Off a Dell Purchase using Amex Twitter Promotion

If you need a Dell laptop before April 30, 2012, have an American Express card and are willing to send a simple tweet to save yourself $100, then this deal is for you!  It’s a little complicated, but here are the steps you need to take to do this:

  1. First need to go to: https://sync.americanexpress.com/twitter
  2. Sign in with your Twitter account, or create a Twitter account if you don’t have one
  3. Enter in your American Express Card number, if you don’t have an Amex card sign up for one
  4. Tweet the secret code #AmexDell from your Twitter account, you don’t have to send this tweet to anyone in particular
  5. Use your Amex card at Dell.com and make a purchase of $599 or more
  6. A $100 credit will be posted back to your account within 5 days
  7. That’s it!

This is a nice deal as you can still use coupons on Dell.com and score a good deal there, and then this $100 off stacks on top of that.  Here’s an example of a nice deal through the Dell Outlet going on right now:

    should the total amount of purchase on dell should be 599 inclusive of taxes or it the money $599 is exclusive of taxes?

      rishi, from what I understand Amex will just see the total amount and will not see the breakout of taxes, and credit you based on the total (purchase price + tax + shipping)
