Lenovo today announced at CES 2013 an update to their popular IdeaPad Z400 and Z500 premium consumer laptops that will now be enhanced with a touchscreen. Other updates to the Z400 and Z500 include an LED backlit AccuType keyboard and 1” thin design with up to standard voltage Core i7 processor and Nvidia GeForce GT645M graphics. The Z400 and Z500 touch screen offerings offer 10-point touch, the max resolution is 1600 x 900. The IdeaPad U310 and U410 Ultrabooks are also being updated with a touchscreen feature to support Windows 8. The U310 and U410 touch screens will offer up to 1366 x 768 resolution and have the same 3rd generation Intel processors up to Core i7. The Z400 / Z500 and U310 / U410 touch will be available in the March / April 2013 time frame.
