Good news to all HP laptops lovers, one of the first laptops equipped with AMD Trinity lineup of processors is now available to purchase on HP’s website. For those that don’t know much about AMD Trinity lineup, it’s the successor of the Llano lineup from AMD, and it’s perfect for the Intel’s Ivy Bridge.
The HP Pavilion dv6 laptop comes with the QUAD Core AMD A8-4500M APU. The dv6 model has an AMD Radeon 7640G graphics card, 6GB of RAM, and a 750GB HD. The display on this fixed-configuration model is, unfortunately, small, 1366×768. We hope we’ll have more options as more models that contain AMD Trinity will come out.
AMD is taking up a notch in the integrated graphics department by improving their integrated graphics provided by Intel with the HD4000. The AMD 7640G is expected to perform just like an AMD HD 7610M graphics card. The Pavilion dv6-7000 series is presented in a solidly built machine.
